Demodulation and Processing of GNSS Signals from the Russian GLONASS System
Abstract
This report describes a software implementation of a receiver for the Russian satellite navigation system, Glonass , and some methods how to acquire, track and demodulate the signal broadcasted by the satellites. For the acquisition part, two methods: serial and FFT search are described, while for the tracking part, only the PLL-approach is pursued. Additionally problems with the checksum algorithm and the decoding are discussed.
